My name is John, and I’m a photographer and editor based in Los Angeles and Denver. I currently serve as a photographer and photo editor for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of photographic genres, with a primary focus on sports, motion picture behind-the-scenes, and street photography.
My passion for sports photography began in childhood, when I’d bring my family’s old camera to sporting events and capture whatever moments I could. My interest in motion pictures developed later, leading me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Shortly after graduating, I accepted a position with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a photographer and photo editor.
Alongside my creative work, I enlisted in the California Army National Guard as an 11B Infantryman, driven by a desire to gain firsthand experience serving the state I love. Through that path, I also discovered a deep appreciation for military photography.
